Kathmandu: The makers of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Jhinge Dau 2’ have released three new official posters, marking the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign. The production team has announced that the film’s songs and trailer will be unveiled in the coming weeks as it gears up for its theatrical release on September 18 (Ashoj 2).
Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, the film is produced by Sulav Pratik, Pratik Deuja, and Samikshya Deuja. The cinematography is by Bishnu Ghimire ‘Kalpit’, while Mitra D. Gurung serves as the editor. The film features music by Arjun Pokharel, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, and action direction by Roshan Shrestha.
The newly released posters highlight different aspects of the film. One features Keki Adhikari and Aanchal Sharma in a joyful mood, while Hiunwala Gautam, Mahesh Tripathi, and Kushal Bista appear emotional. Another poster captures the festive spirit of Dashain, showcasing the four lead characters celebrating together, hinting that the festival plays a significant role in the storyline.
The third poster introduces Aryan Sigdel, who appears to be stopping the four main characters as they react with expressions of surprise, adding intrigue to the film’s narrative. The posters are expected to further raise audience anticipation.

The film boasts an ensemble cast including Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Mahesh Tripathi, Kushal Bista, Aryan Sigdel, Hiunwala Gautam, Saroj Khanal, Basundhara Bhusal, Chaitya Devi Singh, Sangam Bhandari, Bijay Deuja, Anshu Maharjan, Ayab Raj Baral, Uttam KC, Shivahari Bairagi Nepal, Asha Bhusal, Renu Pradhan, and Binod Kumar Poudel. Veteran actors Madan Krishna Shrestha and Mithila Sharma make special guest appearances.
The screenplay and dialogues are written by Parichhed Sen, Govinda Phuyal, and Shishir Chalise, while cinematography is handled by Bibek Basnet and Ishwor Sinkemana. Chandra Bahadur Bhandari and Giriraj Ghimire serve as the chief assistant directors.
Presented by Kapangadhi Cinema Pvt. Ltd. and Film Crew Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Jhinge Dau 2 is the sequel to the commercially successful Jhinge Dau, released three years ago. The filmmakers are optimistic that audiences will warmly embrace the sequel as well.
