
Kathmandu: Singer Ram Krishna Dhakal is set to make a comeback in the film industry after two decades. This time, he will return as a producer. The title of the film he is producing has been confirmed as Malati Mangale. The film will be produced under the banner of Rani Music International Pvt. Ltd., which is named after his daughter, Rani Dhakal.
Directed by Prakash Pandey, the film has a budget of 1 crore Nepali Rupees. According to sources, Dhakal has already obtained production clearance for this project, with both Ram Krishna and Neelam Shah Dhakal listed as the producers. Two decades ago, Dhakal acted in the film Aashirwad, produced by Gopal Karmacharya. This film was considered a biopic of his life, portraying his musical career journey.
Details about the cast and crew of Malati Mangale have not been fully disclosed, but it is expected to be quite an interesting project. Malati Mangale is a famous poem written by Madhav Ghimire. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether the film is based on this poem.
