
Kathmandu – In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the renowned Nepali rock band 1974 AD is set to perform in Kathmandu. The band will take the stage at Hyatt Ground in Boudha on Chaitra 23 (April 5, 2025). The announcement was made during a press conference on Tuesday.
Ticket prices for the concert are set as follows: NPR 999 for general admission, NPR 1,800 for the fan pit, NPR 2,500 for VIP, and NPR 8,000 for VVIP. Tickets can be purchased via eSewa.
As part of its 30th-anniversary celebrations, the band has already performed in the USA, Japan, Australia, and other countries. However, this will be their first concert in Kathmandu for the occasion.
1974 AD is well known for its hit songs such as Chhundaina, Hindda Hinddai, Pinjadako Suga, Pahilo Junima, Parelimma, Sambodhan, Jangi Nishan, and Irish Café. The current lineup includes Nirakar Yakthumba, Manoj Kumar KC, Sanjay Shrestha, Firoj Syangden, Manoj Singh, and Adrian Pradhan.
