
Kathmandu – The release date of the movie “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” has been set. The film’s producer, Gyan Bahadur Pradhan (Roshan), has announced that it will be released on Ashar 27, 2082 B.S. (corresponding to July 11, 2025). The film will be distributed by RR Films Pvt. Ltd.
The movie features actors such as Roshan Shrestha, Bijaya Baral, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang (‘Hait’), Ayusha Samal, Narayan Khati, Bhupendra Lingden (‘Mantri’), Subash Bhandari, Bijay Subba, Bijita Bardewa, and Devaraj Rajbanshi, among others.
The film is directed and written by Nara Pradhan (Mitra), a literary figure based in the United States. It is produced by Gyan Bahadur Pradhan (Roshan) under the banner of Padma Ishwar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Nara Pradhan. The movie focuses on issues faced by Nepalese living abroad and aims to highlight Nepali language, literature, arts, history, and its significance, while also exploring the identity of Nepali people.
Written by Shivam Adhikari, the movie addresses the concern that Nepalese residing in various countries worldwide are gradually forgetting their art, traditions, and culture. Through cinema, the film seeks to revive interest in the Nepali language, its importance, and history.
“Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” features music by Deepak Sharma, Bikas Chaudhary, and Torampa Hang Rai, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, editing by Banish Shah, action direction by Dev Maharjan, color grading by Renish Phago, and choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Pramod Bhandari.
