Kathmandu: Congress General Secretary Vishwaprakash Sharma has released a new song titled “Man Tyatai Katai” on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. The song, which was made public on Sharma’s YouTube channel, presents a heartfelt expression of love. The song features the voice of Pramod Kharel, lyrics by Pramodhari Guragain, and musical arrangement by Manohar Sunam, with Sharma himself composing the music. The video, directed by Nikesh Khadka, features Akash Shrestha and Priyana Acharya.
Sharma, who has an interest in both music and literature, has previously recorded songs aimed at promoting Dalit awareness. He has also recorded several songs in his own music. He composed a song for the Nepal Jaycees album. During the earthquake tragedy, he released a song titled “Swikruti” featuring the voice of Shishir Yogi.
During the lockdown, he released a song titled “Aau Maya Garaun, Prakritilai Raksha Garaun, Mahamari Bata Sansar Lai Jogau”, which was sung by Sheetal Moktan. This song was prepared in both Nepali and English.
