Kathmandu – On the occasion of the New Year, Rajesh Hamal has moved into his new house located in Budhanilkantha. Marking the beginning of the new year 2082, he performed a housewarming puja and shifted to the new residence on Monday (today). Previously, Hamal had been living in a house in Kapurdhara, which was demolished, prompting him to build a new house in Budhanilkantha.
When Rajesh first came to Kathmandu, his father, Chudabahadur Hamal, took him to the house in Kapurdhara. Rajesh spent several decades there, and that house stood witness to the many ups and downs of his life and career.
Hamal’s new house is located in the Siddhartha Colony in Budhanilkantha. He has built the new home on one ropani of land.
