Kathmandu – Advance booking for the movie Laaj Sharanam has opened. The booking for the film, which is set to be released on Wednesday, opened on Monday. The movie has received an enthusiastic number of shows across multiplexes nationwide. The country’s largest multiplex chain, QFX, has allocated 65 shows for the film. Among these, 29 shows are in QFX outlets within the Kathmandu Valley, while 36 shows are outside the valley.
Big Movies has allotted 5 shows, FQube Cinemas has allocated 4, and BSR has also given 4 shows. INI and One Cinemas are yet to finalize their show distribution. According to the Khalti app, Laaj Sharanam has received a total of 101 shows in the theaters where booking has already opened. The film is one of the most anticipated releases of the year and is set to hit the screens on Fagun 14 (February 26) on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.
Produced by the team behind the popular comedy television series Sakkigoni, Laaj Sharanam features Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) in the lead role. The film is directed by Kumar Kattel and stars Bijay Baral, Arjun Ghimire, Sagar Lamsal, Harish Niraula, Priyana Acharya, Mahesh Tripathi, Arpan Thapa, Renu Yogi, Vijay Lama, Mukunda Shrestha, and Mala Limbu, among others.
The film is produced under the banner of JPT Creation, with Nabin Shrestha as the producer, while Ram Naresh Shah and Srijana Khadka serve as co-producers.
