Kathmandu – Around five years ago, young singer Kamala Ghimire went viral after singing the song “Chiyaa Chhaneko, Boli Le Hasaaun Kati Janeko”. However, she has now reached a point where she says, “I will not sing anymore.”
Little Kamala has grown up significantly and is currently studying in Grade 11. Her voice has changed a lot compared to before.
In the past, when she sang, audiences would shower her with praise. But now, the comment sections of her live Dohori performances are filled with harsh criticism. Many comments say things like “What a terrible voice,” and “It no longer has the sweetness it once had.”
Because of this, Kamala has decided to stop singing. “I received a lot of negative comments about my voice. I even sought medical treatment, and the doctor advised me to rest. If my voice improves in the future, I will sing again,” she says with a heavy heart.
Since her voice is not cooperating, Kamala has now focused on her studies. As singing is no longer an option for her at the moment, she is trying to establish herself in TV serials and modeling.
